Organizational Skills

Organizational skills are the ability to use time, energy and resources in an effective way so that we can achieve the things we want to. It helps us to stay organized so that we can manage our time, keep our workspace clutter-free, prioritize projects and stay on top of schedule. Organizational skills are essential in the workplace and are the key to getting ahead in the business world. You can stay on top of projects, beat deadlines and impress your supervisor with effective organizational skills. There are organizational tools available to help employees become, and stay, organized. Organizational tools include file cabinets, paper trays and daily planners.

Course Outlines :

  • Participants will identify their organizational downfalls, explore the benefits of being organized, and understand the importance of respecting themselves enough to adopt new work habits
  • Develop an action plan for reducing mess at workspace
  • Understand methods for reducing electronic and paper mail
  • Complete tasks as they come your way
  • Create checklists & automated approaches to recurring tasks
